Hannes Mairinger, a experienced hotel and tourism specialist, brings extensive experience and success in leading companies focused on management and development of hotels, hotel chains, spa & wellness resorts and amusement parks throughout the European Union. He has developed and overseen the strategic business plans of multiple hotels and resorts such as Holiday Inn, Dorint Hotel & Resorts and Ostsee Resort Damp. After his successful time in the hospitality industry, Hannes Mairinger went on to manage Germany's second biggest theme park Heide-Park Soltau. There he served for 12 years as General Manager and transformed the theme park from a privately owned business into a fully themed amusement park & resort that is up to the requirements of a private equity company. During his tenure he increased yearly visitors from 1.1 Million to 1.7 Million, added a four star hotel as well as a holiday village and constantly opened up new fully themed thrill rides such as Germany's highest Gyro Drop Tower "Scream" and Germany's first launched coaster "Desert Race".

Hannes Mairinger has a unique hotel and amusement park background that includes outstanding operational and organizational leadership experience and an extensive and diverse network throughout the industry. Drawing on this wealth of experience, he can give unique advise for the opening or strategic reorientation of hotels and location-based attractions.

Since 2013 he has proven this in various projects as the founder and owner of Mairinger Consulting GmbH. In addition to his consulting work, Hannes Mairinger has been Managing Director of Torfhaus Harzresort GmbH since 2015 and Managing Director of Nature Resort Investment GmbH with the Gutshof Sparow & SCHIERKE Harzresort am Brocken Resort since 2020.
